Tim: By the way, I'm attempting to reanimate the RSS feed, which somehow died. Weird stuff may happen.

Tim: You know, I'd somehow never considered just listening to DMC tracks - it's not a style I tend to listen to, but I must admit it really works for me when I'm playing!
Boradis: Awesome. I'm imagining the really intense Griffon battle music (aptly titled "FLOCK OFF!"

as I read these pages. Tim, have you listened to any of the DMC1 tracks on their own? Pretty sweet.
Tim: For added goodness, despite being anachronistic (Ulala currently being in 1999), this TWEWY reference is actually consistent, as we shall soon see!

Darian: ...I love you so much right now.
Now all we need is Purge dressed as Jeanne while riding a Motorcycle up a rocket.
I shall see to it that it happens someday.
Ian: That's...that's...oh my god Tim greatest page ever. My brain is turning to mush! I'd love to watch Scott Pilgrim; apparently it's a whole love letter to gaming, from Street Fighter to obscure NES games. Sadly, I am not a very cinema-guy, so I'll have to wait until it comes out on DVD/Sky Cinema. =(
Tim: That's true - part of the point of DMD was to challenge them both in new ways! Interestingly this fight is inspired by something I encountered long after starting the comic, as will become clear next week...
Ian: I don't think either of them had it hard in their own games...I guess this would technically be the 'hard mode' for both DMC and SC5.

(I wish.)
Tim: Clown-puppet and his usually-out-of-frame friend Beret-puppet are yet to be named by Ulala... it will probably depend on whether or not they survive this encounter!
ashura: Does the clown-type puppet have a name? He reminds me of Mr Mime from Pokemon.
Tim: There may be some technical issues with Ulala being able to wield Nevan as a Devil Arm, but I consider the awesomeness of this combination to be a more important consideration.

Darian: Everyone say it with me:
"GUITAR WARRIOR!"
Ian: GUITAR BATTLE ALERT! GUITAR BATTLE ALERT!
Oh man, this is gonna rock~
Tim: Welcome back! And as you no doubt guessed, worlds colliding is one of my favourite things

Ian: Oh dear, Ulala isn't going to take well to being forced to dance! Also yeah back from holiday yay~
Darian: OH SNAP!
Worlds are REALLY starting to collide now!
Tim: What I find particularly impressive is that James is now able to get these kind of results using digital from start to finish - I still rely on a pencil-and-paper stage to begin with myself!
Darian: Wow, that's really nice art!
I'm just learning how to do digital art myself.
Tim: Given I'm using a Blade (Bathnarzle) as a narrating character, I just had to include these guys.
